Can you believe the end of the school year is already here? It has been a great year of celebrating student growth, individualized learning, and hands-on experiential opportunities.
As we wrap up the school year, please continue checking our app or website for 2025-2026 Daily Announcements to stay up to date on events and any changes.

May 4–7: NWEA Testing
May 6: FBLA Inductions for current and students of interest (in Kim) – leave at 1:50 PM
May 7: Seniors’ Last Day
May 8: No School (previously scheduled Friday session canceled)
May 10 (2:00 PM): Graduation
May 11 (6:00 PM): Spring Theatre Production
(Junior/Sophomore class dinner beforehand)
May 12: Kim Elementary Track & Field Day
May 14: End-of-Year Awards, NHS Induction & Last Day of School
May 20–22: JH/HS AR Trip – Estes Park

For high school students, we will reach out this summer to schedule meetings to discuss student goals and course planning.
The 2026–2027 district calendar is now available on our website (and attached). Please note that we will implement some Wednesday early releases to support staff professional development aligned with our strategic plan and SCAP (Student Centered Accountability Program) goals.

🔬Hands-On Learning in Biology! 🔬
Our biology students rolled up their sleeves and dove into a dissection lab! This opportunity gave student anatomy exploration in a meaningful way—making connections between structure and function while building critical thinking skills.
From identifying organs to understanding body systems, students showed curiosity, focus, and a willingness to learn through hands-on discovery. 👏

📚✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom!
Our 4th/5th grade students met their reading goals and celebrated with a student-chosen educational trip to Lamar! 🙌
Students practiced real-world skills by ordering and budgeting their meals at a restaurant of their choice—building confidence, financial management, and independence along the way. 💵🍽️
They then attended the Harlem Wizards event, where they were brave enough to jump into activities on the court and even meet the players! 🏀🔥
We’re proud of our students for their hard work, courage, and willingness to step outside their comfort zones! 💙
