Recently the elementary students had an exciting day visiting the Springfield movie theater, followed by a tour of Southeast Colorado Hospital. They had the opportunity to explore different careers and learn about the important work done in healthcare. What a fun and educational experience!
Team Vilas Matrix headed to Littleton this weekend for a First Tech Challenge qualifier meet. They gained valuable experience, made impressive modifications to their robot, and are excitedly preparing for the next meet. Great job, team!
As part of our district’s commitment to fostering leadership, two outstanding students, Nana Gutierrez and Osman Yanes, have embraced every opportunity to develop their leadership skills for the benefit of our community and their futures.
These students proudly represented Vilas School District at the CASB (Colorado Association of School Boards) Leadership Strand. While there, they connected with student leaders from across the state , networked with school board members from various districts, and gained insights into the similarities and differences between educational systems.
They returned with a renewed sense of gratitude for our district’s commitment to individualized education for all students. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, growth, and dedication! 💪🎓
