🎓 Career Fair at LCC! Our students had the opportunity to explore a variety of career and college pathways at the Lamar Community College Career Fair. They left inspired and full of new possibilities for their futures! 💡 We also got to see one of our own Vilas graduates thriving in his postsecondary journey — a great reminder of where hard work and determination can lead. 💪✨

🥗🌱 Colorado Proud Day Spotlight! 🌱🥗 Today we celebrate Colorado Proud Day by showcasing our very own hydroponics lettuce grown right here in our Food Production Pathway! 💧🌿 Our students have been hard at work learning sustainable growing practices, and the results are delicious. This crisp, fresh lettuce is now being served on our salad bar and included in school meals. 📣 We’re excited to share that Vilas School District is participating in S-CAP (Student-Centered Accountability Program)!

S-CAP provides a strong accountability and feedback process that helps districts like ours ensure alignment with whole child education and set meaningful goals for the future.

As part of the process, educators from other districts spent the day with us collecting data from conducting classroom observations, focus groups, and reviewing documents.
