Congratulations to the Vilas students on their participation at Regional Science Fair. Martha Gutierrez received an award for supporting science education. Anabelle Pettinger earned 3rd Place in Behavioral/Medicine category. Luke Nantz
earned 3rd Place in Chemistry category. Kalob Carter earned 2nd place in Engineering category.
Vilas Elementary recently took a field trip to the Historical Adobe Museum and went bowling in Ulysses. Students enjoyed learning about the historical life on the high plains.
Good Luck to our South Baca Patriots at Regionals today. The winner of today's games will advance to play tomorrow.

Our First Tech Challenge team finished their season on February 10th with a remote meet. They placed 4th at the remote meet.

We're taking a Spirit Bus for 6th-12 graders to the District Basketball games round 3. South Baca Boys vs Primero at 4:45 and South Baca Girls vs Springfield at 6pm at La Junta. GO BIG BLUE!

Attention Parents! We're excited to partner with the Walsh Children's Theatre for our students to participate in the Rainbow Fish theatre production. The district will provide transportation for Vilas students to participate. The following permission slip will be going home with students on Monday. Please note that the first meeting is February 20th.
