They did it! 🙌 The South Baca boys powered through and set a new personal record in the 4x800m relay at state track this weekend - an impressive feat that earned them a 5th-place finish! The relay team is made up of Hayden Brooks, Ethan Barwick, LJ Willis, Mylo Lovejoy, and alternate - Osman Yanes. And that's not all; Mylo Lovejoy placed 5th in the 800m, too. Congratulations to the South Baca boys for an outstanding performance and for representing #SouthBaca at the highest level! Additionally, we missed mentioning yesterday that Mylo Lovejoy and Hayden Brooks each set new personal records in the 3200m.

We would like to express our deepest and sincerest appreciation to the incredible staff at Vilas School. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work are truly commendable, as they strive each day to provide our students with quality education and support. We are so thankful to have such an amazing team of teachers and staff members who go above and beyond to ensure our children succeed.
We are so grateful to the Campo School for welcoming us into their home and providing students from the Vilas School with a unique learning opportunity. We are having an amazing week! Some students are immersing themselves in the world of performing arts, while others are participating in various hands-on projects and problem-solving activities. It has been a bonding experience that truly embraces the spirit of community. Don't forget to join us at the Campo School Gym this Friday, May 12th, 2023, at 6:00 pm for the play they have been rehearsing this week! A community potluck dinner will follow.
