Gear up for a night of fun as the Vilas Student Council hosts a Jr. High game night and a High School Lock-in. Thursday night we will kick off with the Jr. High game night at 7pm to 10pm and follow with the High school lock-in on Saturday from 7pm to 7am. The Vilas Student Council is excited for some great nights of fun. Permission slips went home today.
2024-2025 District Calendar
South Baca Athletic Banquet is May 6th at 6pm at Pritchett. This is a potluck yearly event. JH parents please bring a dessert and HS parents please bring a salad/side dish. We look forward to celebrating the SB athletes for this school year!
Maddy Forgey, Anabelle Pettinger, and Brock Wittler participated in the Ogallala Commons E-Fair this month. All three students created a business plan and presented it to judges. These students excelled at their professionalism, organization, business knowledge. Anabelle and Brock both tied for 1st place.

Vilas School District will be releasing school at 1pm on April 16th due to lack of power at the district. Busses will run. Track practice for Vilas homesite is cancelled. Play practice transportation will still be provided leaving Vilas at 4pm.
The JH track meet at Moscow today (4-16-24) has been cancelled due to high winds. Track practice will be homesites today.
Thank you to the Colorado Parks and Wildlife for letting us be a part of this activity. We planted hundreds of shrubs that are vital habitats for quail for years to come. The students and staff demonstrated an astonishing work ethic and left with pride in our community.
